my response I had the pleasure of attending Scentsy Leadership last year on Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas cruise ship. The all expenses paid (because I earned it as a Scentsy Consultant) was a fantastic time, with so many take-aways. One thing in particular however, continues to stick out with me.
http://blipsystems.com/mikluxa/3871 In a room with only about 800 of my Scentsy Sisters and Brothers, a group of 6 Consultants stood on stage and recounted how and why they started their Scentsy Journey.
http://yankalillabakery.com.au/?kramarew=citas-de-amor-por-internet&361=7a The panel began with Consultants sharing their first impressions of Scentsy and what it meant to them. Two Consultants in, a woman (and I wish i had noted her name that day), took the microphone and moved me to tears.
rencontre crunch She began with a tragic story of how she suffered a sudden medical condition that stripped her of all her memories. She told of how she woke up in a room full of people she didn't even recognize. Of how she looked at a sea of faces who included her husband, and children, and knew none of them. Not one face was recognizable. Filled with fear and an inadequacy to love these individuals in the capacity of family and friends, she was lost.
And then she went to a Scentsy Party.
check out here She went to a Scentsy party and while smelling the testers being passed around, memories began to surface. Certain scents were triggering memories and moments she had lost. Vivid imagery of moments in time, like her wedding, the birth of her kids and vacations were brought back all with the power of fragrance.
rencontres utp bordeaux Her story moved me. I share it a lot with customers who tell me how certain scents make them think of people or places so fondly. The smiles that usually come in those moments remind me that fragrance is so powerful and brings so much joy. It reminds me that the link between fragrance and feelings are just so strong, and needs to be shared.
