Organize before you re-launch your business
When things are where they are supposed to be your productivity soars and your spark stays lit. Taking the time to organize the space (or spaces) you will be working in most, will really get the ball rolling while you relaunch your business. Keeping on top of things before thing get on top of you is key! Organization is critical and keeps you on track and more importantly motivated to use your time and energy on income producing, business building tasks.
Host a re-launch event/open house
Your event can be as simple as a Facebook Party or as grand as a large 100 person Open House. Regardless of the venue, a re-launch party is an excellent way to not only attract new business but gain confidence through the added support of your friends and family. You know they will be there cheering you on and that kind of encouragement goes a long long way! Tip: Always OVER-INVITE. Invite 50 – 75 people. It may sound like a lot but remember many won’t attend. A guest list of 50 usually brings out 10-15 attendees. Be excited about your event on Social Media and make your invites genuine and direct. A blanket post that reads “Come to my Open House” just isn't enough. Reach out one on one and make each invitation personal and heartfelt.
Follow up with past customers – just ask!
Overcome your fear right now of calling or contacting past customers. Re-launching yourself is not a sign of weakness in any way. In fact, it is inspiring. It says you aren't a quitter, and people respond to that -customers and new team members alike. Look through old orders and invoices and reach out to those who helped you at the start. Chances are, they will help you again, or know someone who might want or need something. Asking leads to yes's and no's, but not asking will always lead to no's, right? You can't re-launch your business and grow unless you ask.
